Stop Taking Advantage of Tragedy

I Live in Orlando Fl., and as I am looking around the web, I am ashamed of the people taking advantage of the tragedy going on.

My sympathy goes out to the victims and families of the people affected by our tragedy as well as the one in Ft. Hood in Texas. I personally know people involved in both.

As a blogger, we need to know where we draw the line. Writing a post such as this to give support, or to talk about our views is ok. I agree with stating your opinions.

However, DONT use it to try to promote a product. That is disgusting. I have seen several that started out great, supportive of the victims, and sending out a seeming heartfelt sense of grief for the tragedy. Then they turned it around and started talking about products and trying to make a sale off the tragedy.

You have to draw the line somewhere. Now you will have the adds in your sidebar or whatever, but don’t take the tragedy as a chance to promote your products. It is disgusting and will turn people away. I personally will not return to a sight I see doing that. Would you?
