Everything that you will do online will center around your keyword research. You have to know what your potential customers want, and where to find them. This is the first dead fall for most new marketers. Anlaysis Paralysis leads to people failing to get the basics right. You also need to not over think your way through this. It can be simple once you get started.

Now, you will find a lot of different people telling you that you absolutely must have such and such tool to do your keyword research. Usually, they do this to push you into buying a product that will “help” you. Honestly, keyword research is so easy, you just don’t need all the junk people are telling you.

The fact is the only reason they bring up these problems is to milk money out of you. They probably have always been too LAZY to even try doing it without the tools. After all, who wants to spend 5 minutes doing something these days? That’s right, In 5 minutes, you can build a list of 20-30 keywords that you can target for your site.

Ok, so it will take a little longer than that to judge competition, but it still won’t take much longer than that.

Now, all this is assuming that you have done Market research already. In order to do that, go to your niche forums, and get to know your potential customers. find out what they need.

Once you have the basic market research done, you can go and find the keywords that people are looking for.
