Hey guys gonna need your help here. I am jumping smack dab into the middle of another contest. I am hope it can help with increasing my blog traffic, and getting more people up here checking out all the cool new stuff that I am working on for you.
My friends over at FamousBlogger are hosting another awesome guest posting contest, so I am going to enter. I know some of you run your own blogs, so you really need to check it out. Last time I entered one of their contests, I got a lot of traffic within a few days, and quite a few followers as well. Now, the cash prizes are great, but if I can get more visitors and followers here, it will be worth the effort, even if I don’t rake in the cash.

I have just started using Comment Luv and I like the results in the short period of time I have used it. I also enjoy reading about the contest ideas, and guest blogging tips provided here. I’m learning a lot about this style of blogging.
Thanks Joseph. I have just started using it myself. Since I have started guest posting and blog commenting my traffic has trippled, even though my search rankings have not really improved much. just goes to show, if you work your magic right, you don’t have to rely on search engines for traffic.

Thanks Andrew. That is something that I have really been focusing on for the last few months. Learning how to engage people has been one of my biggest struggles, especially when bouncing from writing for static sites, and back to my blog.
As I have become better at it, I also realize that my articles which I post elsewhere have also become better, and my writing clients are getting better results as well.
How do you find out about blogging contests? I just tripped over this one, but am having fun and would like to find others.
Hi Stephanie. unfortunately you came in after it was over. For me, I hang out on several blogs that I follow, and usually that is how I find them Someone will post about one going on, or I may stumble onto one by finding a guest post on another blog. Like when we were doing the commentluv contest, I was on Famous Bloggers almost every day, and I actually went to several of the blogs from different posters, and commentors to see what they had on their blogs.
I also am active on several social bookmarking sites, and have a lot of bloggers on my facebook friends list. They are always posting blog posts and sharing cool posts they find on other blogs, including any contests that they find.
