Hey guys, by popular request, I am going to put together a webinar within the next week or so on how to use wordpress, but I want a little help as I plan it out for you. I have already been getting a lot of questions, so here are a few things I am going to cover.
WordPress SEO:
permalinks, plugins, optimizing tags, and all sorts of tricks to maximize your sites performance. Some of these tricks are not being taught on most wordpress sites, even in many of the popular WP training programs.
RSS Feeds
What is an RSS feed, and how you can use it for free traffic and building a lot of links to your site.
we are also going to cover 2 types of wordpress sites:
I will also cover how to Use WordPress for static sites, and running a community blog.
I will also cover how to monetize each one of those, because each one is different in how to use them to make money. I will show you one of my new sites that I am building up, and will show you how I set it up for maximum effect.
these are just 2 of the many ways to use wordpress, but I cannot cover all the ways to use it in one webinar(it could take a full week to go over them all).
I am going to cover some tips for using WordPress for a business site or as a personal blog,
Anyway, these are just a few of the things that I am going to be putting together for you. But, I am doing this for my readers, and friends from the forums, so I want your input.
Leave me a comment below and let me know what you need help with. I cannot garuntee that all questions will be covered, but I will do the best that I can with my experience and knowledge. I have been building websites on WordPress for about 2 years, and although I don’t consider myself a WordPress expert, I know a lot about how to run it effectively, and I will share with you everything that I know.
I will be showing you what plugins I use, and how to optimize them for peak performance.
People have been flooding my email and PMs on some of the forums, so I am going to answer you all at once. If you want your questions on how to use WordPresss answered, you have to ask, so leave them in the comments, and we will add it to the list. If i get enough questions, I may break it up into two webinars so that we can cover more material.

Hey James,
Best of luck with that. It’s going to be a big help for people. I am planning to put together something similar for my clients, but in print form, so it’ll be interesting to compare!
Cheers,
Tia
Thanks Tia. So far we are going good. I have put together enough questions and answers to them to set up and run 2 webinars, we are doing them on 2 days. the Print format is great, but I learn better from watching someone do it, so thats mainly the way I try to teach, through using video and live training.
James,
I like to participate in your wordpress webinar. I join affilorama recently. Whatever you’re willing to share I’m sure will be helpful.
Andrew
Thanks Andrew. I will be helping with as much of the basics as I can. With some of the questions that I have been getting, I am sure that I will need to run more than one to cover it all. It could take me a week to do everything that people are asking. However, I am working out a solution to that. This first one will be a basic WP overview, Choosing Themes, creating basic graphics, Etc…
Sounds great. So is it going to be for free? I think a lot of people new to blogging have trouble getting used to Wordpress and all the things that come with it such as plugins. It will definitely be helpful for those people.
By the way I noticed that you have put a banner in your sidebar. The thing is that the link of the of one banner is liking to the image itself. You might want to fix that.
hey Julius, thanks. somehow this one ended up under the spam list. need to adjust the filters. The webinar was free, just an opt in. will have the replays up later on.
