Creating Email Opt in Forms for Your Website
by James Pruitt on 08/13/2010
A lot of people have been asking me about how to add an opt in form for their webpages. Many people don’t like the new Aweber code, or perhaps you use a different autoresponder, and need to set up your own opt ins.
Today, I am going to share with you a video that I just recorded on creating the web forms for your website. Check it out. I hope this helps you get going.

James,
Great content once again. Hope you have a great Friday. Thanks for putting me on your blog roll. I have a lot of work to do on my own blog. Spending all my time “working”. One day I’ll get my blog up to snuff, like yours.
LOL, I don’t think its up to snuff. It is my most neglected site, besides my dating blog, which has been neglected for the last few weeks.
When I started this blog it was just to let people know what all I was learning on this wild ride, and to help others struggling with the same issues I was. I found that by writing out the solutions to my own problems, other people were able to relate.
Just got Camtasia, and had to take it for a test drive. not too bad for my first time. The videos will get better as I learn how to use the editor more.
Hello James:
Great job on your video training with the opt-in-form, I will be watching this several times, and taking notes. I can see that you are a real person who cares about helping people & giving value, and this will come back to you tenfold. My goal is to one day position myself as a similar expert like yourself.
Much Success James,
Well, I am no expert. I just happen to have a little more experience than the people that I help. I actually have a book that I am working on a 2nd edition to on creating authority without being an expert. The best advice I can give is to practice, and learn the basics. Once you know the basics, start testing things yourself. Be willing to continue investing in your education. I have purchased several really good training programs, and although they didnt work as is, I was able to pick out the best parts, and create my own system for doing things. Find what works for you, and repeat it over and over again.
That’s funny! I really enjoy your blog though. Hey about Camtasia. Did you pay full price for it? I had the trial for it and really liked it but it’s got a hefty price tag, as you well know. Wish there was a way to get a better deal on it.
Networking. I am working on a JV partnership, and one of my partners had a Multi user liscence so that his staff could use it on multiple computers. He gave it to me so that we can do some of the work for our partnership.
It is well worth the price, but if you can get it for free, take it…
Hey James,
this is great for lazy bastards like me! I outsourced this and yet its super easy – damn!
Thanks for sharing…I will do this on my JetPacks
Dennis
Thanks Dennis. Working on a few more videos that are going over bare bone basics over the next few weeks. this one was done early due to demand but I am going to be showing some that show basic wp set ups, the best plugins to start off with, and how to really maximize your wordpress for the lazy (or techie dumb like me) people.
@James have’t heard back from you regarding the order
I emailed you about it Dennis.
