Thanks Andrea. that is one of the ways I find blogs too, in fact I showed that in the video. However, there are other ways to find them as well. :)

Thats True Steve. I also generally recommend that people engage in blog commenting regularly on any blog they want to guest post on. networking and building those relationships will take you far in this business.

I'm from the Fashion Niche and hopefully i don't have the fashion sense of a rock. The way that I find commentluv enabled blogs is once I written a post i take the subject or break it into section and search the keyword and commentluv i.e "ted baker commentluv" and this has worked for me. Might point out in case other fashion bloggers find this post that my fashion blog is Commentluv do follow. Though if a comment is spammy or of the great post variety i do remove the commentluv.

James,

All great points. Blog commenting is a wonderful thing. It really is worth the time and effort. It is even more rewarding the newer a blogger is. It becomes a way to get noticed and "join the scene".

Hey Anton, you are right. I love using Commentluv blogs for commenting. Every comment should add to the post or the discussion that ensues within other comments. It is also more about engagement than link building.

So true, blog commenting is the fastest way to get backlink but it all depends on the comment itself. In leaving your thoughts, it should add value to the conversation and has relevancy to the topic. CommentLuv and keywordLuv enabled are best for link building whether NF or DF.

There are a lot of ways to get started. I would recommend checking out sites like Odesk, Elance, or Fivver if you don't have any online experience. they have tools to help you set up your own services, as well as training for service providers.

I ran mine through my blog and paypal. I wrote up a page stating what I would offer to do, and included links in my blog posts to the services. then I focussed on blog posts on topics people interested in my services would want to read. For example, I was doing freelance writing, so I wrote articles on how to write better content, and linked to my services offering to do the work for them.

Generating the reputation is the hard part. When I started, I offered my services dirt cheap just to get some jobs done and show off what I could do. I also participated in a lot of forums and blog commenting on other blogs where potential customers would frequently hang out.

Once you get started, its not that hard to keep it going.
