Internet Marketing Today

Despair hit that night. I spent all the money on this program, and now I could not even pay my internet bill.  At the time, I had started reading Success for Dummies by Zig Ziggler.  Now I am not affiliated with his programs (yet), but I highly suggest you read some of his books on success and personal growth. If I had not been reading that book I may have given up my dream.

I decided to go back and reevaluate my goals and look at my options. I could go out, get a second job, and put aside my business in order to maintain the level of comfort I had. Or I could tighten my budget, and focus the extra time I had on building my business as fast as I could. It did not come down to paying my rent, or I would have had no choice but to get the second job, and put aside my dreams.

I decided I could use the wi-fi at a local café,  so internet could go, take out all non critical bills, and I had just enough coming in to survive, of course If I got sick, or anything went wrong, It would be a disaster. However, I could not allow fear to stop me from doing what I set out to do. I had done that enough, and I knew where that would lead.

I started spending every waking minute on building my sites. I took the other 3 sites, got 5 pages on each one.

Then, I spent a few days building some links to those sites to get them started. Not many, but enough for the search engines to see that the sites where real, and not just wasted space.

Some people ask why I did this instead of focusing on 1 site. Page age is a major concern to the search engines, since I was now way ahead of my schedule for my first site, putting a little time into these other sites does not put me off track for my goal, and it was working in the direction of getting all my sites up faster than I intended. I was not concerned with getting rankings or SEO on those sites yet. Mainly they are there  with some content on them gaining page age. They where all already indexed in Google, although not ranking highly for any search terms.

Once I spent time focusing on those sites, I built them up quickly with good SEO and they where already indexed by all the search engines. This helped me get to my goal faster than waiting 2 or 3 months working on my main site then starting over with my new domains.

Therefore, I decide to start IMRelations during this process. Now if you read my introduction, you will know, I am not here trying to pretend to be a guru on making money online. I have never been a great salesperson.  Even as a kid, I dreaded doing fundraisers. I always felt guilty trying to sell someone something.  Now I read everything I can on salesmanship, and copywriting.

My main goal here is to share with people what I am learning. I will also share some of the tools that I become successful with so you can try them out for yourself. I am learning and growing.  Please share any comments you have so that I can continue to improve, and give me some ideas on what people would like to know.
