11 Killer Blogs That You Should Read Today From Blog Engage

by James Pruitt on 08/31/2011

Every day, I read through a TON of other blogs, checking up on industry news, finding content to share, brainstorming ideas, and basically getting to know what is going on within the marketing world. I also spend a ton of time on personal devlopment blogs, dating blogs, and other blogs related to my niches.

After all, if you really want to succeed in your business, you need to know what is going on in your niche, and the best way to do that now days is by reading what the popular blogs have to say.

With that in mind, there are a few communities that you should join if you can, and follow even if you can’t join (most of them require you to have your own blog) so that you can find the latest blogs, and the best news within your industry.

Today, I have spent the last several hours in one of my favorite blog communities, Blog Engage, getting up to date on some of the news around the community.  If you don’t know, Blog engage is run by Brian, a seo and marketing blogger, who has put together an amazing community of bloggers networking to build their businesses and branding their knowledge.

As I went through the blog engage community, I picked out a few posts that I found insightful, and wanted to share them with you. All of these blogs should be on your Follow list.

I love blog engage. it is one of my favorite places to go find cool stuff. And unlike some of the communities similar to them, it isn’t all IM related. I find dating blogs, health blogs, personal development blogs, cooking blogs, and all kinds of great stuff there.

The way that most people do it on their blogs is wrong. which is why so many people fail at it. I started purely with affiliate sales, and have built my business on it, so I know it can work really well when done properly.
Steve has some really great tips, but it all start with the niche. Most people start off in the wrong niche, and kill their chances before they even begin.
